6 rules of photography

rule of thirds: this shows rules of thirds because the building with the people hanging out is more to the right then the center so it falls under rules of thirds.


balance: this photo is balanced because the both buildings are on both sides of the photo creating a balanced feel.



simplicity: this photo shows simplicity because the gray some background is very plain letting the statue of liberty stand out and be the main area to see.

lines: this picture follows the lines rule because it is filled with vertical lines from the building.

framing: this photo is framed from the bridge and the sky and river.

avoiding merges: this photo avoids merges because it has a plain background that does not merge with any thing.
