Great Black & White part 3

1. The first one i choose it because of the story in the picture. The other two I choose it because of the difference in the black and white it makes each color pop out.

2. I see the man painting his photo.
    I smell the fresh rain.
I hear the cars passing by.
    I taste the moist air.
    I feel the cold breeze.

    I see the couple kissing.
    I smell car gas burning.
    I hear the busy crowd.

    I taste the cold air.
    I feel people pushing.

3. I would choose a power point because it's easier and more convenient.

africa and mural project

This is my favorite photo, i like it because i love giraffes and there skin patterns, also the sky is mostly clear beside the little moon in the background which points you to look at the animals.

The rules he followed is simplicity because the sky is plain.

he used a pentax 67 camera, he loves animals and he filmed a music video for Michael Jackson he fell in love with Africa, show the beauty of the animals.
,
"Africa is Africa because of the animals there.

1. A theme we could use is teenlife. Cause high school is filled with teens.
2. We should open it up to the cameras to because it wouldnt be fair.
3.  In the cafeteria so everybody can see it.

This photo shows a story to me because it is showing people enter acting with each other.
I think the story is like a food bank or volunteer organization put together a food drive for the homeless to try to help feed the hungry.

This photo shows the most action because it catches the science reaction and the movement in the photo.

This photo is the most interesting because it shows a group of people holding hands doing something interesting and it has the frame of the grass and trees.

Favorite Photo: I picked this photo because I like the color of the mix the boy is pouring into the beaker the purple is really pretty and it attracted me to the picture. This picture follows the rules of balance.

academic shoot reflection

1. It was hard for me to find lines, i didnt know what to shoot, and the setting was hard to follow the rules.
2. trying to put the camera in focus was hard and my camera took forever to take the picture.
3.make sure i have a subject in every photo.
4. I would do eerything the same besides my line photo.
5. simplicity, its easy to shoot one thing.
6. lines i didnt get that one to well.
7. Lines and look on the website linked.

Academic Shoot.

framing: The school building frame the picture.
i think i followed this rule pretty good because the building frames the subject the girl.
the subject is pretty clear its right in the center.

balance: the two boys are even.
i followed this rule good because the two boys are balanced in the picture on opposite sides.
the two subjects are kind of clear there are alot of distractions though.

Simplicity: the background is plain so you know what to look at.
i followed thus rule good because the background is plain with no distractions and you know exactly what the subject is and where to look at.

Lines: there is a lot of lines on the ceiling.
i didnt follow this rule to well i dont have a subject and you dont know what to look at. i would shoot this photo differently by having the lines lead to a subject.

Merges: the boys hand merged in the picture. this rule is good the boys hand is in the subjects face creating a merge. the subject is clear just has a hand in his face.

Rules of Thirds: the tree is off centered. i followed this rule good because the tree in not in the center. the subject is very clear its the big tree.

post shoot reflection

1. I couldn't find anything that really looked happy so I took a picture of a smily face spray painted on the sign out side red and metal are easy because this school has a lot of that.

2. I focused on tryna make the picture clear by pressing the shoot button half way first letting it focus and then taking the shot.

3. I would make sure you know what your suppose to be looking at using the rule of simplicity. And also avoid merges by having a better background.

4. I would do my angles the same way.

6. No, they were boring not intrest.

6 rules of photography

rule of thirds: this shows rules of thirds because the building with the people hanging out is more to the right then the center so it falls under rules of thirds.

balance: this photo is balanced because the both buildings are on both sides of the photo creating a balanced feel.

simplicity: this photo shows simplicity because the gray some background is very plain letting the statue of liberty stand out and be the main area to see.

lines: this picture follows the lines rule because it is filled with vertical lines from the building.

framing: this photo is framed from the bridge and the sky and river.

avoiding merges: this photo avoids merges because it has a plain background that does not merge with any thing.
